The description seems to imply this is an adaptation, is that correct? I don't speak Russian (I'm using an online translator), so I'd be grateful if you could confirm.

Also, according to WorldCat (our preferred source for confirming page counts) this book has 535 pages. Can you tell me what is on pages 536-544 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.

Hey! Sorry for the delay, I have never received any notification nor anything about your reply. Only now that I have revisited my posts I have noticed that there are some questions regarding the edition.

First of all, it is a version that is a translation with a little modification in the Russian language so that it could be comprehensible for children, in other words, it is just a little bit simplified for children.

On these pages, there are some references and explanations to the events happening in the story, some historical references.
