hey everyone English isn't my native language so I'm looking for some "easy to read " classic novels. Are there any recommendations? and also is Pride and Prejudice/Jane Eyre /Wuthering Heights/Little women an easy read? These are the only ones I know

Little Women and Jane Eyre are fairly simple to understand but are a bit on the longer side! The Great Gatsby and Peter Pan are short and easy to get to grips with! I haven't read any Jane Austen but with Little Women and Jane Eyre if you struggle a little perhaps use an audiobook along side- they're free on multiple platforms (I think ibooks and also audiobooks.com)!!! I read Wuthering Heights a few years ago and found it difficult to process but it's up to you!!! :)
I would say pride and prejudice is easier than jane eyre (from a non native english speaker). The Yellow wallpaper is also a great recommendation since it's short and an easy read. (it's 3 small horror feminist short stories). Fahrenheit 451 is great too. (it's like dystopian and it's about 200 pages)
not only jane eyre was longer, but also i struggled with some words at first. So, I would suggest Pride and prejudice cause it really helped me, learning all the "classic language" for my future classic reads!!!
I've actually read a bit of Fahrenheit 451 as a homework assignment since it was homework I didn't really enjoy it that much but I guess I will try it again and see if I would enjoy it thanks for the recommendation
The Great Gatsby is a classic I would recommend and my fav part about it is that it is easier to read than other older classics
im just getting into classics myself, but I really like the picture of dorian grey. it's fairly easy to read. I also just read the stranger and it was easy to read but I didn't love it. it's very short though so if you don't like it you can just whip through it.
coming from someone who tried to get into classics recently, i’d recommend the picture of dorian gray by oscar wilde, any piece of george orwell (animal farm or 1984), and of mice and men are some easier ones to understand and read hope this helps <3
The Wizard of Oz is fairly short and easy, but it is more of a children’s book, but any age can read it l.
