Hi Leslie,
Thanks for posting about Adam Silvera's The First to Die at the End. I did hear that Netflix is developing this to a movie version, and adding Bad Bunny will make it interesting and bring a big fan base to watch it. The movie is expected next year. I will be looking out for that. We want to know what you think of the book(s).
Adam Silvera is a best-selling author and has written some popular titles, an author with a deep experience working with YA books and publishing. He definitely has a sharp instinct on what people are interested in reading.
You should suggest his titles as a write-in suggestion for our current book selection voting polls.
My favorite Adam Silvera book is Infinity Son. I need to read Book #2. I have a stack of books that I am trying to read through.
Thanks Leslie for that recommendation! Keep us updated on what you are reading.
Have a good day.
Sincerely,
-Donna

Recently, I've been thinking of finishing where I left off in The First To Die in the End. I had put it down last year as my life became demanding, then when I did have time I got the reading slumps. I finished the first book back during the pandemic and boy was that a wild ride. It's a very curious plot, there weren't a lot of details disclosed about the Death-Cast company in the story, but in the prequel, it gradually gets fleshed out.
I'm thinking about going back to this book because it's been established that there will be a show adaptation of the first novel. I'm really stoked about this, especially since Bad Bunny , a famous reggaeton singer within the Latino community, will be one of the co-producers of this show. Knowing this, I'm so eager to finish reading TFTDATE before any more news about the show's production is leaked :')
