New to both group and Goodreads

I am Lori (L.V. Gaudet) and I write fiction. Why do I always feel like I'm at an AA (Authors Anonymous) meeting with these introductions?

I have been writing a variety of fiction genres and am still working towards having a book published. I also can be found haunting the halls of such places as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter.

Hi everyone!

My name is Celeste Simone and I'm a fantasy author with my first book coming out this Winter! It's called "Oriana's Eyes" and it's Book One of the Great Oak trilogy. I started writing this years ago and finally have put the last finishing touches. I'm definitely welcome to any suggestions that you may have, especially in regards to getting reviews for my book. Paul, and I thought I was just having a wicked case of deja vu. Yeah, I just joined goodreads and joined a bunch of groups at the same time. No point in just dipping a toe if I'm going to get my feet wet.

Jim, are we supposed to be recovering? Oops, I think I'm doing this authors anonymous thing wrong. Fell off the wagon again today ... I wrote. But it was just a little bit, so maybe it doesn't count.

I like the look and viewer navigation of wordpress much better, but I fing blogspot much easier to use.

I've heard they only make you go to those types of meetings if you are in denial. That's why I embrace it.

"Yes," I say with great conviction, "I do want to be a writer, I write every day ... sometimes 3,000 words per day!"

Now, let's get out the shot glasses and celebrate. Oh, sorry, wrong addiction!

Um, yeah ... those are ink wells for our fountain pens. They just happen to be empty because we write alot. The big tumbler sized ones are for the very serious writers. (ok, that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
