I love Keats. I mentioned this scene in my review. Keats knows how to push Kim's buttons. Penn saw Keats' ploy, but it went right over Kim's head.I know that Marsons weaves the various investigations into the main investigation, but I didn't expect this one to have a connection. I thought it was there to highlight how Keats knew Kim.
I love Keats, too, and his relationship with Kim. They respect each other for reasons other than expertise. Somehow I think he also knew it would be Penn showing up.
Kim fundamentally understands that all lives matter, even those who appear nameless. Keats loves that about her.
Like you, Sharon, I never figured that the John Doe would somehow connect with the investigation but based on the past, I should have. Nicely done!
