I read the book I landed on for a previous roll, so I’m going to use a saved move of 2 extra spaces I earned in March to move forward a total of 4 spaces. I’ll mark it on my tracking thread as 2+2.

No, you aren't supposed to do that. She had a big "roll" (well the randomizer moved her) between those two ones (see my message 136). So please just return yourself to where you were and add two from there. Sorry if you did extra unnecessary reading. I should have made it more clear that Nancy didn't have a special roll with the 1-1.

No problem. I actually wanted to read that book so I'm okay with it. I'm almost done with my roll book so I didn't actually miss any time.

I’m running a bit behind, I’ve been focusing on a Pulitzer for the past month and haven’t made much progress on my game board.

So, to clarify: I’ve already been moved once from (6) The Fifth Mountain up to (18) Girls Burn Brighter, which I’ll complete before moving back to (11) The Heart’s Invisible Furies - Fantastic choice! I’m excited to get to both of these books! Being moved about my board is definitely working in my favor! :)

Your advantage is:

At a time of your choosing (this may be between rolls or accompanying a roll), you may opt to have the randomizer select a playing card for you from a deck of 52 (I'll do the drawing). A face card equals its face value. Jacks, Queens, and Kings are 15, and an Ace is 20.

You may move forward that number of spaces, but that move must be taken at the time of the drawing.

Pam, for your advantage, you may use any publication year for any book on your current board. Add up the digits and that's your move forward. You may use this move anytime, but the book must be selected from the board you are currently on now.

Cool! A special advantage! Can this be used at any time after I read my next book? Or, do I go 10 forward from where I am now, then add in the number of years (15). So, forward 25 and read that one?

This would be anytime after you finish a book (doesn't have to be right now). So anytime after you finish a book, you can move forward 15 spaces. Your call when you do it.
