Hello Matthew. I like the way your story sounds. I like Fantasy and SiFi, and your book sounds unique and interesting. I would like to read it. What I do I do for FREE. I am not looking for any money for it. This category is for Free help.
I will be honest, but polite. I will do everything I can to be constructive and helpful. I will not shy away from giving you advice, but I will try to frame it with respect and professionalism. I will try to read quickly and give you as detailed advice as possible.
But I am no professional. Beta Reading your book will be the first book I do that on. But as I said, I am Free, so you have nothing to lose.
I do not know if you have done this yet, but you can Copy-write your work by printing it out, putting it in a manila envelope, and going to the post office and mailing it to yourself. When it gets to you, do not open it. Put it somewhere safe. If ever needed to go to court, that is when it is opened in court, to prove that it is your Copy-write, then the court will reseal it, for protection in the future.
I will tell you what I liked about the overall story, each chapter, what works and what I think could have been done better.
I will mention any grammar or spelling errors I see. As well as any changing styles or Point of Views that I find jarring.
I will itemize any inconsistency that sometimes happens (ex; when a character’s hair color inexplicably changes).
In short I will help out as much as I can.
And as I said I will try to go as quickly as I can, because time is always of the essence. But I do have other life events as well, so I just ask for you to be a bit patient with me as well.

The manuscript revolves around a group of people stranded in a world of giants without the giants. The giants have disappeared, leaving the minuscule people to fend for themselves. An isolated and dying society deep in a swamp sends a reconnaissance mission to find a new home while the corrupted government tries to keep a iron grip on their power and the status quo.
I’ve read and reread this 9 times, editing all the way through. I’ve done all I can by myself and I need an experienced individual to give me their honest opinion. Any critiques or suggestions you have to give will make this book the best version it can be.
