Elizabeth (Alaska) Wow! It's one thing that they rely on us as volunteers to maintain the database, but I sort of think staff should do staff's job. If Jaclyn can't get to it all, then another staff member should be here too.

I agree with Elizabeth. Jaclyn is very busy. Goodreads needs to give the other moderators enough time to do this. Most days it would only take 10 minutes.

It isn't the amount of time. At least that isn't my reason. This is an official Goodreads group. The group should be maintained by official Goodreads staff. I'm a moderator in another group. There isn't anything we can't do, including deleting posts. I don't want anyone other than GR staff to be a moderator in this group.

It's more that we shouldn't be taking work away from paid workers. I do know GR librarians who would love a paid job on here.
