Hi, I'm looking for a science fiction book I read in the early 1970's. I'm thinking around 1975-1977? I seem to think it was called 'Level 17' but I could be wrong. It was about nuclear war and a group of people who lived underground in different levels--with the deepest being level 17 (?). It was told from the point of view of the last survivor and how slowly, but surely, all contact from the above levels cease and he begins feeling the effects of radiation poisoning and at the end of the book begins to hallucinate the world is whole again. It was pretty heavy duty reading for a kid at the time but I had found it in my brother's room and would read it in bits and pieces. I'd love to find the name/author and try to find it online to buy and read again. Thank you for all your help.
