This short book was both interesting and educational, giving answers to questions that many people, including myself, had, as well as providing insight into things that I wasn’t even aware about. I feel that having read this book, I now have a much better understanding of the Native American experience. The author does make clear that he I answering the questions from his personal perspective, and that if you were therefore to ask the same questions to a different person, you would likely get different answers. One thing that really struck me were the questions around sovereignty and the law, and how often these are questioned, but there are also many other interesting and thought-provoking topics covered.
