I see you put it in the indigenous folder. Is it just this particular book or does the tag fit the whole series? I thought it was set in England.

Margie, I moved it to other books for you. The tag of the month is indigenous and all others go in the Other Books folder.
Don't worry about it.

Darn. I read a book set in Sweden with an indigenous culture, but I guess it was too much to hope that there was some indigenous Viking group in England. LOL.
Don't worry about the folder mixup. We've all done it. Some of us multiple times. (Between folders and labels, I almost always have to edit or move my review posts to fix something.)

OH Thank you very much!! I will try to be more conscientious in the future. What a silly goose I am!
In this book, the mystery taps into the past of Elizabeth as a spy and puts herself and Joyce at risk for being killed by 'The Viking'. Two murders, one in the past and one current, weave the tapestry of the tale. I love that while the mystery is being unfolded these 70+ year-olds are deeply involved in the aspects of modern life - Google, crypto currency, and more. No drop outs here.
This is a cozy humorous mystery story that will warm the hearts of those that are in retirement and promote hopefulness in the hearts of those pondering what those years will be like.
A credit to the well-liked series can be found in Steven Spielberg and Amblin production company working on a film based on the Thursday Murder Club. Filming has not yet started, actors are not yet disclosed but the scripts are apparently written and projections are suggesting 2024/2025 release. How exciting is this?
