I know you can't move the ISBN. I didn't think to ask support first to move the ISBN 10 from #2 to #1, otherwise that data would be lost in the merging process.

Librarians are not supposed to delete an edition with an ISBN. You need to get support to move the ISBN first.

I asked support to move the ISBN 10 and then merge the editions. They didn't get back to me, but I noticed that they actually moved the ISBN. However they did not delete the duplicate.
