Age gapDead lover(usually because the person just can not get over them)
miscommunication (unless it's a comedy/satire)
other characters made stupid to make the protagonist look smart
Cheating
Kids who're written like they were friends with Dumbledore or smth
When Strong female characters = Just Men with tits and She/her pronouns
Mary Sue/Gary Sue protagonist
A big age gapAccidentally pregnancy
Miscommunication
When the author ruins a character just to make the main interest look better and for the main character to finish him off (it's not a trop at all but it's very common for some reason)
Um, don't hate me, but enemies to lovers is sooo ewww
Unfortunately the enemies to lovers trope tends to be really toxic, but a really well-written enemies to lovers it’s so addicting
Ok that's understandable
But yes, I kinda hate the toxicity of them
But yes, I kinda hate the toxicity of them
kids...that's it. kids. when you have two young main characters that finally get together...and then they get pregnant. I hate it sm idk why
Age GapMiscommunication
Pregnancy (unless its in an epilogue and they are married with kids. Like i can do that. Or like they have to take care of a kid for some reason, and end up falling in love. an enemies to lovers thing. This i feel like would make a good book.)
BUT I DONT WANT TO READ ABOUT HOW GETTING HER PREGNANT SUDDENLY FIXES ALL UR PROBLEMS.
Cheating/second chance
toxic lovers
I don’t like accidental pregnancy it just feels weird and surprising being their and gives me the ick 😂
Miscommunication, Children in Romances, Unexpected Pregnency, Insta love, Big height difference, Big Age gap, Contemporary Enemies to Lovers
I just realised that the worst trope has to be incest. Second is Teacher X Student. Everyone will agree with me for the first one at least!
