Blackout(romance), and any book by Karen m McManus(thrillers) these are all ya and I loved them! I’ve read every book by Karen m McManus😭blackout was really cute and it follows teens around nyc (there’s a few ‘parts’ to the story and each one is a different couple and how they get together when the power goes out for the day
agggtm series (crime/mystery) the folk of the air (fantasy) better than the movies (romcom) caraval triology (fantasy)
They both die at the end (romance) it's clean and a stand-alone. It does have a prequel but you don't necessarily have to read it
