Daniella,Yes, the "hobby" thing has bothered me, but I love the answer you yourself supplied--you are a writer after all : ): "Yes, it's a bit like breathing. . . ." Given with a beautiful smile, that sounds like a great answer!
Best wishes, Libby

I went into Create Space with the intent to resize my book and it says I cannot change the size because the ISBN number is associated with that specific size. I can change the cover and the text content but not the size. This gets more and more complicated. It seems now the simplest thing is to leave the size the same and I know better next time. Thanks for all the great help.

Yes. Go onto CreateSpace here (you don't even need to log in):

The royalty calculator is under Royalties and the cost calculator is under Buying Copies. I would recommend inputting your current data first to make sure it's correct and then you can play with some other trim sizes and see what you think. I do quickie estimates of the adjusted page count based on a ratio, for example 5x8/6x9 = 40/54 = 74%, then apply that to the current page count. You can achieve greater accuracy by downloading one of the other size templates, pasting the entirety of your text into it (don't overwrite the sizing), and then looking at the total page count. Neither method is perfect, but both are fairly easy and will tell you whether it's worth looking into further.
