There is a serious problem with Bengali. In bengali there is a term, "Juk-tak-khor". Goodreads's search engine is so bogus that it cannot find the book, titled with Juk-tak-khor.

This two images can say you everything, I think.

Violetta | 477 comments I suspect that this book (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) is a duplicate of this book (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...), as the ISBN listed, 9780007448, is invalid.

However, a quick search of that partial ISBN leads me to 9780007448036, so I could be wrong and maybe https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is an ACE?

I think those are cases where someone read a public domain version of an old book or story and added some internet jpeg as a cover just to have a cover on it.

No, they need to be separated so the reviews will be transferred to the corresponding edition. When a super- librarian deletes one of the edition they will re-combine.

Not a problem, just ask in the group and we will help.
For example see this link on how to set a default edition for a book, this way you can change which edition to be shown when people do a search.

It is okay to put in the description a comment such as "this edition is no longer in print", but no need to remove all other data and full description. When users search by ASIN/ISBN their edition will show up.

Not a book is reserved for things that are actually not books (toys, DVDs and calendars being the most common).

It was only available for a limited time, on e-copy. It's no longer available and will never be again. Plus I never added it, someone else did, from Amazon details.
It has more than 5 ratings, so I couldn't get a normal Librarian to do it.
