I liked him! He truly didn't want his bombs to hurt anyone. He was a believable as a guy who likes to make things go boom can be. Kate's only choice was to leave Ewan or trust The Florist. Her moral compass made to only decision she could live with.
The Florist sold his bombs to another person. What did he think they were going to do with them? Blow up deserted building? I can see this guy calling Kate to warn her if he really didn't want anyone to get hurt. And, I understand her talking to him and following his directions to dismantle the bomb. What other choice did she have?
The Florist said he never gave his bomb to other people. A large sum of money was his motivation. I suspect they told him it was an insurance scam or something like that. I like that he called Kate to warn her. She had no choice but to trust him when they threw Ewan in the room with her. She couldn't get him out, and her conscience wouldn't allow him to get blown up if she escaped.
