You could use fraction/percent. For instance, if your book is 400 pages and you have read up to page 200, you have read half or 50%. If the regular print book is 300 pages, you could say you are at page 150. It's basically the same with audiobooks, you have to translate your progress.

Personally I never post progress because then I feel stupid if I don't finish the book, and sometimes GR sends me annoying reminders about it!

Theresa | 15524 comments I track progress for various reasons and have never had reminders from GR, even on ones that don't progress for weeks or months. I also find tracking handy to find my place again quickly in a book when the book mark has fallen out or ebook jumped ahead or back, and I have not read in a few days.

% tracking works really well.

Theresa | 15524 comments @Robin - I haven't looked, but could there be something in your settings that is 'on' so you get reminders? I have never gotten reminders and I have. Sevaral stalled reads, some for months, in my 'currently reading' at any given time.
