do you mark it as "read" if you dnf a book?

I mean technically you did read a portion of the book until you reached the point where you stopped forcing yourself to continue. Why not get credit for reading that portion? I also make sure to comment DNF in my review section and place it in my DNF shelf. I used to feel bad when I first started DNFing books but not anymore as its time I can spending reading or doing something else.

If I get to the 50% mark I’ll mark as read but if I dnf’d before that means I hated it and I just remove it from my bookshelves so I don’t have to see it. But that rarely happens so I try to get half way through before I decide I don’t like it.
Nope, I add it to my DNF shelf. If I didn't finish the entire book, I don't think it should count as "read".
