Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as readers want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Therefore, we do not merge editions which covers which are no longer available.

ETA: I do notice something odd. On May 12, 2023, you changed the edition format from ebook to Kindle and added an ASIN. You may have not been aware of this, but changing the format is against Goodreads policy, so I reverted your format change. Following this change, which created an ebook/Kindle mashup, a librarian created an Alternate Cover Edition (ACE), which was therefore not required. I asked support to move the ISBN back to the ebook edition, with the older cover, and the Kindle edition may have the current cover.

Apologies for any confusion or policy violation. The previous (ebook) listing was not actually a published work, it was a work distributed via a subscriber mailing list with placeholder cover associated. The kindle listing is not a new edition, it is the actual book that was recently published via KDP.

Please advise if you are able to delete the previous listing or merge the two digital listings. Thank you!

In general, we don't list editions which were only available through a mailing list. However, I'm still not sure what the ISBN is for, was it the ISBN of the mailing list edition?

No, the book has only two ISBNs, one for the digital version (9798988316503) and one for the paperback (9798988316510). The ISBNs were only assigned once the book was published to Amazon.

Does an ebook edition exist? In other words, is the book available on any platform or through any channel other than Amazon?

No, the digital version of the book is only available via Amazon. Apologies for all the confusion -- I really appreciate you taking the time to sort this out.

No problem, I apologize for not asking all the right questions at once, it took me a while to understand the situation.
I'm going to delete this version since I think this captures policy in the best way. If this ever becomes a true "ebook" edition, you will need to ask support to move the ISBN.
