Not a book relates question but I need help

My good reads folder, "reads" is showing I have 16 books in that folder, when in total I have 15 books. Why is it counting an extra book that isn't there? I tried uninstalling the app, logging out. Everything. But nothing's working and it's showing the wrong number.... So uh-.. Any tips to fix this? :)

Did you write a review or rate it on a different account? I use my phone and laptop and it counted one of my books twice because of that. If you just rated it rate it again on one device and it might go away. it's what I had to do.

@mel no I didn't do that. it's just randomly showing one extra number. and it kinda is disturbing me lmaoooo. also, i didn't get ur trick to fix the issue. what do i need to do?

try removing them all from read and adding them back

i did that just now :) my entire shelf was blank but it said it had one book. idk how to remove it.

maybe you mistakenly added a book twice in read, check the read dates of each book

thanks adam.ant Bookeater. but I already tried everything. I think i figured it out. earlier this random book was in my read shelf. i took it out. and then now it's sitting in my want to read shelf. whenever i go to take it out, it doesn't and says that the book can't be removed, i think that's what is causing the problem. anyway, i reached out to good reads help, hopefully they'll help. but thanks alot :)
