Fantasy Beta Reader Needed in May (26k total wordcount)

Looking for beta reader feedback on a 13k novelette. I plan to publish a novelette duo (each between 12-15k) this summer (Recasting Fate & Djinn Swarm) and am looking for feedback on the second story (Djinn Swarm). However, because they are in a volume, I need the beta to be willing to read the first story (13,160 words), although comments/reactions on the first story are not expected.

The stories are set in my existing series' world (an alternative modern Earth with magic), but introduce new characters & a new culture. The first story is a "prequel" that takes place around 1910, and the second story (that I need feedback on) takes place in 2023.

I am looking for a beta read primarily because I pulled this 2nd story out of my forthcoming novel and I'm not sure how well it does on its own (even paired with the first story).

This is not action/adventure fantasy -- it's more of a character-study with some political drama, spells, and a faerie game thrown in. While this is not a romance per se, the story is all about a character who is grappling with the discovery that he's head-over-heels. So if you love romantic fantasy or Goethe's Sorrows of Young Werther, this might be a good fit.
