Unfortunately, Goodreads and Amazon have decided to add ALL PROOFS to the Goodreads database. Librarians can only chip away at the problem when authors notice and ask for help. We're sorry you have to do this -- we're as unhappy as you are.I encourage you to contact Goodreads Support to tell them how you feel about this issue. You could also contact Amazon support (Amazon owns Goodreads), because they encourage authors to use their KDP program but don't warn them that their proofs will be added to Goodreads.
Perhaps if enough authors complain, they will decide to stop adding proofs to Goodreads. Or at least warn authors to monitor this ongoing problem.

P.S. I removed this proof, but you must monitor your books because the bots usually put them back.
