can you read six of crows without reading shadow and bone?

I haven't read the rest of the Grisha verse books like shadow and bone will I be confused if I read six of crows

you for sure can! that’s what i did and i loved it. it is fantasy so either way there’s a bit of world building/ backstory to get through but you definitely won’t be missing much not reading shadow and bone

yes you can, it won't really spoil anything either. personally i think Six of Crows is definitely better and Shadow and Bone is hard to get through

i haven't read shadow and bone but i read six of crows and i. loved. it. so yes, you cant totally do that!

there's a references to s&b throughout but i feel like six of crows does a good enough job at world building that s&b isn't necessary.
