opinions on spine cracking and folding the corner of pages??

I fold the corners sometimes when its an emergency and I dont have a bookmark atm. Then I get the bookmark and unfold the corners. But also, I fold corners to save a certain spot where I liked a quote from a book. :) I only crack the spine when I can barely read the words on a slim book. And I bend the book accidentally :d

I can’t get comfortable with a book unless it has a cracked spine- there is so much more flexibility 🤸🏼‍♀️! But definitely no to the folding of pages, I use a bookmark 🫶
