SOLVED: Adult Fiction > SOLVED: Adult Historical Fiction. Possibly time travel (but i'm not that sure). It started with a phrase like: I didn't write this book, I stole it. [s]

Dreamer | 3 comments Okay, so the truth is that I haven't read this book yet, but I really want to. I was watching a video with book recommendations based on their first lines, around a year ago. There was this book which started with a phrase like: "I didn't write this book, I stole it". I'm not sure the first line was exactly this one, I might remember it wrong, but it was something quite similar to that. I think the book was time travel related, but I'm not absolutely sure about that either. But I'm 99% sure that it was somehow historical-fiction-ish related, whether because it included time travel, or because it was set on the past.

I read mostly adult books, so I suppose that this one was adult as well, but there are also chances it could be YA, although i don't think so. It definitely was not middle grade.

I know that I don't really have much information, but that's all I can remember. I tried finding the video but I could not, and I really want to read that book.

Any help is appreciated!
