Lakle sat on a bridge, her feet dangling over the edge. She sighed softly, the moon light reflecting in the water down below. Her father had began to speak about arranging a marriage between her and the wealthiest suitor, and she was quite upset. Jallix prowled the dark village, following a sweet sent of blood. He just needed to find the source. If they were alone, he could just swoop in, knock them out, and take them home. They might not even survive the first feeding, but food was food.
