"Of course you would." Max said. "That's why I wanted to bet. And I was worried whether or not you would make it. I mean, if it gets too bad, we can turn back if you want....." He let his voice trail off in the tease, slightly interested as to what her answer to this might be.
"No! Ill be fine i promise" she said quickly.
Max tilted his head downward quickly as he smiled, then back up as it faded. "If you're sure......" He said in the same teasing tone.
She narrowed her eyes at his teasing "Yes I'm very sure" she huffed but smiled slightly
"Ok then." He said. A hint of a smile played around his lips as he his head back to face the front. His hand once again tapped absentmindedly at the wood of his bow.
Penny let her smile fade as she continued looking around. She was getting bored. She sighed and reached up grabbing a pine cone as she passed under a pine. She then threw it at the next tree.
Max let out a small chuckle as Penny chucked a pinecone at a tree, glancing over at her. It would seem that being both quiet and still wasn't an option for her.
"Can we like.. go faster? This walking will take us like a week to get there" she said pulling off another pine cone
Max shook his head. "Not unless you're willing to tire out your horse, which causes us to not only have to stop to let them rest, but to travel and a much slower pace." He said. "They could keep this pace up for hours if asked." He reached forward to pat Ace's neck, getting a small whine in response.((Do we want to skip to later in the day when they're deciding where to stay?))

A couple hours passed and the sun was about an hour until it set. Penny had found amusement in shooting targets then pulling out the arrow as he rode past. She got good practice with her knives to.

Max watched as she shot and threw at the passing trees or whatever else happened to catch her attention. After awhile, he glanced up at the sun, making note of the time. He sat in silence for another moment as he debated what they should do. They weren't too far from a town, surely they could make it before dark. He gave a small nod, then looked at Penny. "We'll stop at the next town." He announced to her.
Penny looked over at him and nodded "Sounds good. Cant wait for some hot supper and a nice bed to sleep in" she said resheathing her knife. Penny gave Anya a good pat "Your probably ready to huh?"
