That was about the only thing that made sense as a motive. But why Regan, who was innocent in it all, and not Walker who was actually a party to the wreck was a sticking point for me.
I didn't make the connection. It would have made sense if Eric Gage was going to kill Walker. I couldn't see him going after Regan.
I made the connection to the murderer the second I heard about the crash and even before I knew Eric and Nina were the 2 involved. But I can't make the connection from that to Regan. Eric was crazy.
The connection to Regan is to hurt Walker...to punish him. I think in the attack, Eric was to crush Regan's legs like Nina's was - leave her paralyzed and make Walker feel the guilt or something. It was all tied to Walker and Regan is his sister.
I didn't make the connection. Although I did recognize that killing Regan was a way to hurt Walker after I found out that he was there when the accident happened. Eric put the blame on Walker because he couldn't face the fact that he was responsible for Nina's injuries.
