Goodreads will not accept ASIN from Amazon

I tried to create a book record on Goodreads by using the ASIN provided on Amazon. I copied and pasted, so I know it is correct. However... I get an error message saying: "ASIN contains invalid characters. ASINs should contain only letters and numerals".
The ASIN is B0BL9JH7V5 for a book called "The Weekend" by L.H. Stacey
Obviously this ASIN does only contain letters and numerals. Could you shed some light on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Well for one thing the book is already here. Search that ASIN and you will find it.

Why not have the error notice say duplicate ASIN rather than the ones I got which were:
1) ASIN contains invalid characters. ASINs should contain only letters and numerals
2) ASIN is invalid.

When I first searched this book by ASIN I got a "Can't find the book? Add a new record" message.

You would have to contact Support to ask that.
