Personally I think that so far the author of the book has put the pieces in place to make this plot great. Daniel is developing quite well and I like how the author has started to show us his personality quite early in the book.
My prediction is that Raya will ditch Taj and dance with Daniel and that Clara and Max will dance together after all.
