Shaye waited as they talked. “My advisor is in town today, she got an early start this morning so I don’t think she’ll be joining us.” She said. “So I guess it’s just you and me your highness.” She said that last part someone suggestively, although she only meant it as a joke.

He swallowed. "Just us then." He said and the person nodded, bowed again, and then hurried off. "How do you feel about hidden rooms and levers?" He asked Shaye once they were alone again.
Shaye smiled. “Hidden rooms huh?” She said. “Sounds perfect. Where are they?” She asked, following outside of the dining hall. “Close enough for breakfast I would hope.”
"See, if I showed you, they wouldn't be hidden anymore." He joked. "I'll retrieve breakfast in a minute once we get there, but come on. It's upstairs." He said with a smile.
She smiled a little more, this time slyly. “All alone with you in a hidden room all the way upstairs?” She said, making it sound suggestive but once again only joking.
He blushed. "Okay, when you put it like that..." He muttered. "I promise, I'm not trying to seduce you or anything." He promised. "If it makes you comfortable, we can sit outside of the room instead. It only has a table and some chairs and a painting, but yeah." he said.
She started to laugh. “Eli, I was joking!” She said. “You people take everything so seriously here, loosen up a bit.”
His face turned a bright red. "W-well, its not easy t-to lighten up when someone says s-something so suggestive." He muttered, though wasn't really mad. Though he was extremely flustered —this was a rare thing for him. He cleared his throat. "So, you ready? He asked.
That just made her smile more. “Yes I’m very ready you’re highness.” She said. She wasn’t sure why she was being so flirtatious with him. She also couldn’t really tell if she was just doing it for fun or because maybe she was developing some feelings for the new king. She shrugged.
He nodded and pulled on one of the torches and the door moved, revaling a small corridor lit with bluish lights from the elves many many years ago, said to never run out of fuel, and he took Shaye's hand and led her down some stairs, the door closing behind them. He then turned to face her in the dim bluish light. He couldn't see anything but black beyond her face. He was standing infront of a closed door. "You ready?" He asked, and without waiting for an answer, he opened the door to the small siting room.
