Please change my author name back to the correct spelling

Hello,

My pen name was recently changed from MJ Pankey to "M.J. Pankey" which is not correct. The name is not intended to represent initials, but an actual name and it's correct spelling.
Furthermore, MJ is the name and spelling printed on the cover and spine of the book, the copyright page, and also what is registered with the US copyright office and Bowker. Changing my name to "M.J." potentially jeopardizes my legitimacy to claim ownership to the rights to this work and could cause problems with book distributors and book sellers.
Please correct my author name and the book attribute back to "MJ".

It is GR policy to have punctuation for initials. (If they are not initials, then what are they? How is it pronounced?)

Librarians cannot alter GR authors' names, anyway.

I'm not sure I've ever had to argue with someone over how to spell my own name before. It's quite something. MJ is my name. Period. It's not initials.
Initials are the beginning letters of larger names put together. This is not that. I'm not sure who changed the name, but someone did and it wasn't me, but legally it's incorrect, it does not align with my book or the Copyright office, and it needs to be changed back. If librarians cannot do this, can you please put me in touch with someone who can? Thank you.

Also, it was a librarian's note in the change log.

It was changed by staff, who have the final say in such matters, and a note referencing site policy was also added to the log.
