Yes! I just reread it and I stand by my initial thoughts. Beach Read is light enough it is in fact a good beach read, but has more than enough substance to not be complete fluff (not that there's anything wrong with that). I think Emily Henry does a great job of mixing in some spice and fun flirty banter with real character work and solid plot. If you took out the spicy scenes, I'd still love this book. Can't say that for every romance.
