Cutthroat business. I feel bad that Gail is losing her company. The plan seems far fetched enough that it will likely work.
I think Simon will think about it and then go through with it.
What do you think of Simon, Gail and Ian? Do you like these characters?

Gail is definitely going to fall in love with Simon. Getting away to Whiskey Creek will have some challenges but I think it will be good for Simon.
I didn't like Simon at first. I thought he was an A$# but as we get further into the book little tidbits are revealed about him and he's growing on me.

Up to chapter 29
(view spoiler)[I think this will backfire for Simon, his ex wife is playing more games. It's sad their son is caught in the middle of this. Somewhere along the way Simon is going to realize he loves Gail and the hard part will be convincing her. I want to feel sad for Gail but can't because she is so strong.
I'm totally drawn into this story and can't wait to see how it ends. I'm enjoying this more then I thought I would (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-8

I love the marriage of convenience trope and this is like a spin on that so I'm enjoying the set up for this so far. Gail and Simon are so different (granted I don't think we're getting a lot of the real Simon so far) that I'm not sure how the author is going to make this work. I really like Gail's character but don't have any real opinions yet on Simon. Ian is kind of a jerk with what he did to Gail's business but he's seemingly making up for it by helping with the plan.
