Elizabeth (Alaska) This must be removed from the title, but is there any reason the words Library Edition should be in the Edition field?

Melanie (mvalente89) | 2197 comments I usually only see Lib/E on audiobooks so I do add it to the edition field as there are usually several audio editions and it helps differentiate them which is useful for those who care about accurate tracking of which edition they read (some libraries for example don't make it easy to see the ISBN of audio editions you've checked out and having the edition field filled out can help you pick the version most likely to be the right one when adding to your GR shelves).

It doesn't help with the 'why' reasoning though. :)

Elizabeth (Alaska) Thank you both.

Emily | 17503 comments Library Editions of audio CDs are often sold as separate editions from regular Audio CDs. In my experience it usually refers to the packaging (and price). Library editions come with hard plastic cases that have individual disc slots on rings, like a notebook, to reduce wear and tear, since many people will be checking it out.
