who confirmed it?(side note: obviously i'm not judging them for breaking up or anything, especially it it was amicable, i'm mostly just incredibly surprised, it was so random)
honestly, i'm leaning towards its fake. first of all, they've been dating for soooo long, the tabloids are probably searching for drama, and everyone's talking about how well her tour is doing and how much she's making, etc. etc, and when have they ever let her have that much positive press? it's probably a way to draw attention and try to stir up drama so everyone's not just talking about how many people are going to her tour now that the ticketmaster drama isn't getting as much coverage.

ok for all the people saying they're not gonna believe it unless either of them confirm it... the thing is, taylor never publicly addresses any of her relationship drama or breakups. she's never done it in the past and i don't think she's starting now so we can let go of the hope that she's going to directly tell us about this situation. she's been subtly giving hints, just the way she always does-- by changing the setlist from invisible string to the 1, the lover house burning down (this could potentially be one of the reasons why??) her crying during champagne problems, etc. and i think now that so many big news articles have covered it, and how big the rumor is getting, neither of them denying it is confirmation enough. i'm sad for taylor considering how much good music she's written in the past 6 years, it feels like joe's almost breaking up with us but it's really none of my business and i'll continue supporting her in every way. i hope she's doing good with this difficult situation she's going through <33
(also the thing with her dinner at nyc being publicized is suuuuper wired considering how much she likes to hide from the paparazzi)

honestly, i'm losing hope everyday that it's fake, but something does feel off. the perfect timing of it coming out the one weekend she isn't performing, the unverified source, and her being spotted in NYC (even tho she's rarely spotted out). one way or another, something is coming

exactly!! i think continuing to deny it now could be more hurtful than not. especially considering how active taylor is on social media, seeing all these comments about how people "will not accept it" or "it needs to be fake" could be really painful for her to see. i think we all just need to accept it and give taylor the time and space she needs to heal.
I won't believe it until either Taylor or Joe confirms it. because as Taylor has said the public will try to ruin relationships and spread rumors and you just have to ignore it. but if it is true, i hope she's doing all right, she deserves so much in this world she's been there with me since I was in kindergarten and has carried me through my darkest times when everyone abandoned me. so regardless if they're together or apart, i wish them both the best and i know whatever will happen is for the best

I’m trying to move on because it really is their decision and I accept that. But she recently wore a necklace in New York that looks like the J necklace and now I’m just confused again. She never goes out in public with paparazzi unless she WANTS TO. She WANTED for us to see her out in New York with that necklace on and it’s giving me mixed signals 😭😭I don’t want an Easter egg hunt about this breakup I just want her to say yes or no so we can all move on and accept their decision 😭😭
