Same for me. I have the next one too. I have a BR starting May 1 and another May 15, but I should be able to fit it in there alongside.

I can fit in another CP book during May. I only have The Expanse BR in May and then finishing up this ARC of the The Ferryman in the next few weeks. Let’s make it happen if you’re both up for it!

I’m up to Chapter LV (55). So much going on and I’ve got tons of questions.
First of all, I love the new character of Moxie Castin, Charlie’s new attorney. He’s such a great addition to this series and I just chuckle when he’s in a chapter with Charlie. The dialogue is great!

Chapter LIII (53) - Sam (view spoiler)[has some crazy abilities such as breaking glass now?! Like WTF is up with this kid? (hide spoiler)]. 😳😂🤣

Chapter LIV (54) - I fee like David Ferrier (view spoiler)[ is super sharp but I’m worried about him. Not sure if he’ll survive the Buckners! (hide spoiler)]

The Breathern - (view spoiler)[I’m not sure if they have been in previous books but I feel like the whole “religious evil cult group” has been in many books!! I guess when you have so many fallen Angels and Old Gods being worshipped, these groups tend to pop up. (hide spoiler)] LMAO!!

I really liked this one. I thought all of the plot pieces were resolved well, especially Eklund's (view spoiler)[piece in this whole puzzle. It's always the quiet ones or unassuming ones that surprise you. You know what I mean?!
I could not believe it when it's determined he was the one that had something to do with Claudia Sansom's disappearance and death since she looked like his ex-wife. Woah!! Cray cray.

And now we know why Ross wanted Parker to find out about Eklund. He took pictures of Sam this whole time!

I was shocked with the death of the Collector and Eldritch. If the Collector is finally going to die though, it should be in a book that's all about ghosts! (hide spoiler)]

Just finished. Man, another roller coaster ride! I really enjoyed. (view spoiler)[ I was shocked just like you both with the collector dying. I figured he’d be around for a while since he had a specific roll. And I do not the ink he’ll be back. He suffered the same fate as the people he was killing by having his soul consumed by the hollow men.

I don’t think we’ve heard directly about the Brethren up to this point. They were creepy, and what a cool idea about having connections here and in the honeycomb world in between. What a way for them to go as well.

I’m still worried about Angel! I couldn’t decide whether that last chapter was supposed to make us feel better, or worry more, haha. (hide spoiler)]

These books are so good! I’m loving them. Wish there was another series that hit this topic (view spoiler)[ of fallen angels and demons (hide spoiler)] so well. Totally fascinated by it.

Yay!! Glad you finished and loved the book. I totally agree with both of your spoilers and really love the overall theme of this series. I find it so fascinating as well! And the way Connolly has written this, it feels so believable.

I definitely think there is more to Angel. I don’t know if this is because of his past or if there is just something about him but have you noticed how these kids in these awful traumatic experiences stick to him? Like that little girl they found under the floor of that trailer in one of the previous books and the kidanapped girl in the start of the last one? Or am I just reading too much into it?

I don’t think Angel is like Charlie but I do think there might be something special about him. Louis too for that matter. They seem too flawless when they are all together.

I can easily get to The Woman in the Woods by the middle of May. I’ve got to finish my ARC which is over 500 pages and then get going on the next Expanse book in the beginning of May.

Would that work for both of you? Anytime after May 15th is good for me.
