I think I'm on chapter 5 now- I like how short the chapters are. Makes it feel like the book is more fast-paced:))

This book is giving me a lot of The Maze of Bones vibes.

Wow, that was really good. The plot was enjoyable, but what I really loved were the characters. Xander is probably my favorite Hawthorne- he made me laugh on several occasions, and I love that he's a lot more brilliant than he seems. Avery was also one of my favorite characters ever. Can't wait for the next one!

I just finished the book and I loved it!! I also really loved Avery, her character was just everything. But I can’t decide which of the Hawthorne brothers I liked more 🤭 is it bad that I really liked all of them? 😂 I can’t even decide who I want Avery to end up with! Haha

I finished reading this at a speech tournament and I was hiding behind a wall of chairs squealing the entire time and I got lots of weird looks XD

I got Avery on the quiz and I think that's fair.

Avery was def my fav character although Oren and Nash ran close seconds. I loved how unpredictable the story was, like I definitely didn't see half of the plot twists coming at all. It was epic to read. I'm so finishing the series. *scurries to library*

So I just started this a few hours ago and am on Chapter 54 of the audiobook. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this is pretty good! Before I looked at reviews of it and just glanced a little bit at the synopsis, I got a definite Knives Out vibe about it - even though I haven't seen either of the KO movies!
