Hmm... I love SoC too, especially the complex worldbuilding, that I found in The Mirror Visitor Quartet by Christelle Dabos (plot-wise nothing like SoC but I loved it anyway!)

The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi is very similar to SoC. Almost a little too similar, the main character has mommy and daddy issues (Kaz) , the love interest is Indian like Inej, theres a gay/bi sidekick (Jesper), and small nerd/little brother (Wylan). And they are basically a gang and do heists. I haven’t finished it yet but I’ll update if there’s any other similarities.

I just finished reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson it hasn’t got heists but it is about a group of thieves trying to start a revolution/rebellion. It also has a unique magic system :)
