Nominations are now open for May, 2023!

So far, the authors exempt from nomination, since we've already selected one of their books this year, are Jean Brunstetter, Richelle Brunstetter, Wanda Brunstetter, Vanetta Chapman, Tracy Fredrychowski, Carrie Lighte, Kate Lloyd, and Debra Torres, although we may make exceptions for novella collections that include one of these authors. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!

Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!

Nominate away!!

#1. Weddings at Promise Lodge (Promise Lodge, #3) by Charlotte Hubbard -- Diane
#2. The Bookseller's Promise (The Amish Bookstore, #1) by Beth Wiseman -- Katrina
#3. Promise to Return (The Promise of Sunrise, #1) by Elizabeth Byler Younts -- Natalie
#4. Sweet as Honey (The Honeybee Sisters, #1) by Jennifer Beckstrand -- Raven
#5. The Bishop's Daughter, by Patricia Johns -- Nancy
#6. Strength in the Storm (Johns Mill Amish Romance, #2) by Laurel Blount -- Barbara
#7. The Trespasser (Amish Country Brides, #1) by Jennifer Spredemann -- J.E.B.
#8.

I was trying not to make April happen yet -- I kept hoping that today March 32!

Nominate away all -- I'm hoping we have the most titles nominated this month. Wouldn't a dozen choices be awesome?

Thank you so much for your nomination Connie. I wish we could toss it in the ring, but we read series in order and we've only read the first two in this series so far. This one is #6.

Please pick again. 8-)

J.E.B. Spredemann (jspredemann) | 170 comments Not necessarily a nomination, but I was unsure where to post this.

My book, The Widower (Amish Country Brides) book #7 is FREE for the next couple of days, so be sure to grab your copy! https://books2read.com/u/mY6onx The Widower (Amish Country Brides) by Jennifer Spredemann

Book 1 in the series (The Trespasser) is FREE as well. A great time to start this series if you haven't yet.

Nancy (truthfulreviewer) | 95 comments If it's a kindle version, I'm one who is not going to be able to take you up on your generous offer. You do write good stories, though, the last one I read was well-grounded theologically.

Thanks, Nancy. It's free in ebook format until tomorrow. It's not just Kindle, but Apple, Nook, Kobo, Google Play, etc.

I'm not sure if you actually meant "Kindle" or just ebook format so I thought I'd clarify. All my books are available wide and all of my books are available in paperback. Some are also in audiobook.

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks for reading!
