I am going to allow it this time BUT only because I made the task a bit too vague. In the future, I am going to ask that you try to fit books to tasks as they are intended without trying to game the system. Also, I do have a life and I may not answer you within 30 minutes but I will answer you. You do not have to send me a PM unless it has been 48 hours without an answer. Just remember that your mods have families and we like to spend time with them too.

Now this one I messed up on. It was supposed to be the letters Beauty in the title and I didn't catch my error. However, my screwup is your gain. I will take any form of the word intact OR the letters of Beauty in any order in the title.

Will either of these work??

1. Villain eats their nemesis as far as swallowing blood or semen?

2. Villain is a cannibal & goes to prison but all that is in the book is his testimony on that fact?

Let's remember that this is not classified as an adult-only group. I am going to word this so young people aren't subjected to inappropriate content.

1. Both of these instances can be referred to as eating under the right circumstances, so I will allow it. The 2nd for adult members only.
2. I will accept it because he is testifying that he has done so.

Oh, and thanks for this. I was driving and my husband checked my phone for me when the notification for this popped up. That was priceless.

Moved over from the test thread:

Can we read multiple books or only one book?

The original plan was one book but I like the idea of letting you loose over 2 days and seeing what the totals are. I will stop in all of the competitive threads to let everyone know they can thank Roger for this ; )

You may read as many books as you can finish that fit the task before the deadline. Remember that you can't start until the test begins.

Just FYI, to "pass", you must have a higher score on 2 out of 3 tests. One partner will "fail". Good luck!

message 63: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 3961 comments Since you are now allowing us to read as many as we can finish, does gender matter? In the test thread it says "Read a book with a hot guy/girl on the cover (you decide which gender your date is)." So if the first book we read is a hot guy, does all subsequent books need to me male or does it matter, just a 'hot' model.

Far be it from me to make you stick to one gender. If you want your dates to be both guys & girls, then so be it. Hey, if you want to rate your dates or rank them in order of hotness, I won't stop you! LOL

Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "For diet would a character following an eating plan to control his Diabetes work?"

Yes, diabetics are recommended to follow a special diet to control their diabetes which usually also leads to some weight loss. So a character following this diet would be on a diet. I would allow this.

You are competing to pass the tests. The winner gets the bonus points mentioned in message one of your thread.

message 87: by Donna, Chief Inspector (new)

I will allow that for this challenge. Only because the tests are scored differently. Please note in your post that you are using it for both.
