I've been a fan since 2006, I'm only a year older than she is and everything she wrote was everything in my heart as a high schooler on that debut album. Funnily enough, I have no recollection of hearing her first single, Tim McGraw, on the radio (although I do remember and cherish the televised awards show performance where she got to perform in front of him and Faith!), but I heard Teardrops on My Guitar and fell head over heels. Been a fan ever since.

I was 10 when I first heard one of her songs and I have heard all my life “oh she only writes abt her exes “ “she dances inappropriately on stage “ stuff like that .
She’s just better at writing about her exes and many other topics that’s the people who complain are jealous . She’s just better than they are and everyone dances on stage , it’s no big deal .
So when I was 13 I started sneakily listening to her music on an old tablet I had.
And now at 17 I’m a full on swiftie , I just keep my playlists private abt her newer stuff . My parents have heard a few of her old songs but they aren’t huge fans . I am tho 😂
