i agree !!! short books with short chapters and an engaging plot really help get you out of a slump..

eden ⊹ (cinemaconrad) | 7 comments for me, personally, another thing is looking for recommendations (scrolling through goodreads, booktok, bookstagram, booktube, book influencer posts, blogs, etc, etc.) seeing people rave about specific books always makes me want to pick a copy up and read it for myself. another thing similar to that is watching reading/book shopping videos, i always find myself getting the motivation to read and get more books to read so hopefully if you're in a slump you will too !!!

lauren ✧  (literallyilliterate) (literallyilliterate) listening to audiobooks! it may not work for everyone, but it's nice to be able to put them on while you draw, play video games, etc.

jay (jjayaalex) i love looking at book hauls/recommendations on tiktok, it always makes me want to broaden my tastes and start reading more books


paula ☁️ ·̩͙✧ (volkvolnys) this serves as well to evade a reading slump, but reading two books at a time with different genres, so you can swap whenever you don’t feel like continuing one of them! :)
