What book would make a great movie? Who do you visualize playing the characters?

Personally I'm just not a big fan of everything having to be made into movies/tv shows/etc. I'm content with books just being books. :)

I was having a hard time coming up with an idea myself, because every time I started mentally casting a favorite book I dismissed the idea because I don't think what I loved about it would translate well.

I prefer tv series to movies.

I'm reading The Great Book of Amber; I think it would be a fascinating TV series if done well.

I would also love a reboot of The Dresden Files.

I recently read The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi and that would be such a good movie <3

I think Dragonflight the first book of The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey would make a great show. Since they can do the dragons on House of the Dragon, they should be able to do the dragons for Dragonriders of Pern now.
