That makes perfect sense to me!!! I have always felt that exact same way. I wanted Bella with Edward...cried my eyes out when he left her...was so happy when they got married. I just always thought that "I" would pick Jacob for me.

There are a lot of team Eddies here. It's just that the Team Jakes tend to be more vocal about their affection.

i know right?!? i <3 edward. sure, i would have liked him to have a bit more of a backbone throughout the series, but ultimately i liked him and bella TOGETHER. it's not that i don't like jake, i just like bella and edward together. but yeah, the edward-bashing is all around!

i wasnt really meaning on this board...but on a lot of other non-twilight boards there really is "bashing"To be fair, it's mostly non-specific all-TWILIGHT bashing... it makes me feel so weird cause i actually *like* TWILIGHT :P and edward. and i certainly dont dislike jake.

that's absolutely how i feel :D jake seems more practical to me. but in the context of the story, it just seems like bella and edward are supposed to be together, so im glad they actually DID manage to get together and stay together! and ps...i love it when characters get married! yay for stephenie... and mod stephanie :D

you want to know something funny....my son was watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire and i stepped in just for a minute and realized that one of the characters in that movie was Robert Patteson. I said wow that's the guy from Twilight! My son laughed at me!

hes not so great when hes not edward i think.
i think i liked him better as cedric. for some reason, when i read the series last year i imagined hayden christensen as edward!!!! i dont know why. im just insane i guess.
I guess its good that I watched Twilight before I read the series, because when I did start reading them I pictured each of them so for me every actor what the charecter...except Rose (dont get me started!!!!)Rob is Edward for me for that simple reason.

Hey Roxy I did the exact same thing, it worked bc than i didnt have to use my imagination toooo much when they decribed him.
I know what you guys mean, I saw the film first. Rob is the Edward in my head, except his features are softer, and his face is more narrow. I think the darkness of his eyes are more apparent too.
I like to do that if i havent already seen the movie too, sometimes its better to use your imagination, it helps you to connect more with the characters, but its really disappointing when the character you thought of in your head doesnt look at all similar when you see the movie.
and then there are some movies that seem to nail it-- the actors resemble the characters just as you (i) imagined them--like the principals in the HP movies: hermione, ron, harry, draco... i just for the most part have been really happy with the cast for the HP movies... and i loved everyone in the LOTR cast. TWILIGHT is half/half for me: im not a big kstewart fan, so i personally dont like her in the role (but that's just me!) but right now i'm currently foaming at the mouth over the PJ film cast. :{

That's exactly how I feel! Well I got annoyed with Edward a few times (Leaving her... idiot) but I'm neutral with him.
