"The book is great. Be sure you read the second book as well. So much better than the second movie.

Paranormal Romance
I'm finishing the week with a review of
26 Below by Kimberley Woodhouse. This thriller was a bit uneven for me.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished this week:
* Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. September selection for another group. I originally wasn’t planning to reread it, until I realized how many different challenges it would fit. It was a fairly easy and fast read for me.
* Brian's Return by Gary Paulsen, book four in the Hatchet series.
*. Brian's Hunt by Gary Paulsen, book five in the Hatchet series. I would not recommend this one to really young or sensitive children as the second half is rather serious and graphic.
* The Exiles by Ray Bradbury. This is a short story I read a few years ago in The Illustrated Man, this time it was included in another collection of his, Bradbury Stories: 100 of His Most Celebrated Tales. Excellent timing on this one as it is about books being banned and burned, and September is Banned Books Month. Near the end it says certain authors’ books were destroyed in 2020, which is eerily prophetic as the number of challenged books increased threefold in that year in the US (particularly in some southern states). You can listen to it here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OBhx-FW...
