I hate that phrase so much. It implies that you have to like to read. Meaning that if you don't like to read, it couldn't possibly just be a preference, or that you have other hobbies.
Nobody would ever say "If you don't like to fish, you haven't found the right lake". or "if you don't like to hike, you haven't found the right shoes".
