That scared me - I saw my name where the challenge is set & didn’t remember signing up as I was already doing several challenges here! Perhaps you could add a star or something to your name now you’ve joined the group? In discussions our photos are different, but on lists it could get very confusing. I tried to send you a personal message but it wasn’t accepted.

If the MODS want to, they can add my last initial to any threads that are mine (or they can add a 2 like they did to other threads) if it's needed, but I'm pretty good at keeping track of my own threads, I don't need any special notes as to which are mine and yours.

I'm not changing my name on Goodreads. I've been on here a really long time and am not comfortable just changing my name. But feel free to add a symbol to your name to differentiate between us if needed.

Ok. I’m sure we will know which are our own posts. Like you, I don’t really want to change my GR name. It shouldn’t be a problem now we know there are 2 of us - but it was disconcerting to see a message this morning which appeared to welcome me to a challenge I hadn’t signed up for!

Thanks to a question asked by Truitt_T, I'm making a change to the rules through the end of this month. We will go back to the regular rules on January 1st.


"The challenge rules say: 📘Books must be completed after the task has been posted.


HOWEVER, since it's Christmastime, I will allow all participants to use any books read in the month of December 2023 for any task I post as of today. This will be allowed through the end of this month - December 31st in your timezone. So if you read a book a week ago and it works for a task today, or next week, etc., you may use it."
