Alexis agrees to go to Huntsville and meet her father and the rest of the family, only to get there and learn they not only weren’t expecting her but no one other than Elliott and Candi knew of her existence. Did Candi have any better option to make the transplant happen? Your thoughts about Elliott, Lauren and Cayden’s reactions?

This entire scene made me angry. There wasn't any reason to hurt Alexis the way she did. I understand Lauren's reaction. It was a complete surprise because Elliott never told her about the liaison with Alexis' mother. Even Cayden's response was understandable because it was a shock to learn about a sister.

Elliott was a total a-hole. Here was a woman who came to offer him life, and he threw it all back in her face. Candi wasn't any better. She should have talked to her family before Alexis arrived at the house. I wanted Alexis to walk away from the entire group, but I knew she wouldn't.

Yes, there was another way to handle it. They could present an option for Alexis to be a private donor. I'm sure the transplant coordinator would accept that decision, as a meeting so close to the surgery could cause anxiety. After the surgery, Alexis and Candi could come up with a plan.
